Israel vows to continue Rocket Fire as they prepare Gaza's new security regime

The Hamas-controlled health ministry has said that the Gaza Strip has witnessed a devastating toll since the start of Israel's war against the Hamas terror group.
According to BBC, they claim that at least 4,137 people have lost their lives, with an additional 13,162 injured. However, these figures cannot be independently verified.
While Hamas attributes all the deaths to Israeli airstrikes, some casualties were likely caused by misfired Palestinian rockets within the Strip. Israel has reported over 450 such incidents since October 7, including a tragic explosion in a Gaza City hospital's parking lot.

Hamas claims that 471 people were killed in this blast, while Western intelligence estimates the toll to be considerably lower.

It's important to note that these numbers for Gaza do not include the 1,500 Palestinian terrorists killed inside Israeli territory after the mass invasion by Hamas. Israel's Defense Minister, Yoav Gallant, discusses the country's objectives in the Gaza Strip during a meeting with the Knesset Foreign Affairs and Defense Committee in Tel Aviv.

He outlined three main phases of the war. He said that the first phase would consist of airstrikes and a ground maneuver aimed at destroying Hamas operatives and infrastructure to defeat the terror group.

In the second phase, he asserted that fighting will continue, albeit with lower intensity, as troops work to eliminate remaining resistance pockets.

He revealed that the final step involves establishing a new security regime in the Gaza Strip. He emphasized that this entails relieving Israel of responsibility for day-to-day life within Gaza and creating a new security reality that benefits both Israeli citizens and residents in the surrounding area.
