Woman found in python's stomach', shocker from Indonesia's Jambi province
An Indonesian woman, Jahrah in her 50’s, a rubber tapper, went missing on Sunday night. A day later, villagers found a python with swollen stomach. The locals found the body inside the snake once they killed it.
AKP S Harefa, police chief, Betara Jambi, told the reporters that they found the body in the snake's stomach. He added that the body was mostly intact.
Her husband called the search party after he found some of her clothes and tools on Sunday night. The snake was 16 feet long (5m), and the villagers killed it to verify whether it had eaten the woman.
While it is a rare occurrence, it is not the first time something like this has happened in Indonesia. Similar incidents took place in 2017 and 2018 in Indonesia.
